Hello everyone,

recently I thought to myself "You always want your outfit to look special. Why does your riding gear have to be so boring?"
So I started to embellish one of my horse's halters with japanese import fabric with deers on it.

The joke about the whole Bambi-theme is that my mare Susi is anything but a Bambi in appearance (but of course inside she is Cheesy)

I used regular denim needles and despite all my fears my machine did not complain!
On one side I embroidered a little "S" - for Susie (or Sinje - it's a good thing both our names start with an s)

I actually made a second one featuring little red riding hood and daisy-ribbon, if you want I can make a picture of that, too!

And here is a picture of me on our gorgeous Frisian gelding Wodan, just because I am soooo proud of them both (ok now I start to sound like a 12-year-old "Pony-club-girl" Cheesy)

Thanks for looking!

how sweet! If my sis still rode I'd so be making her one for "her"  horse. (he technically belongs to the barn but she rode him for shows and stuff.)
I always wondered why more people don't pamper their ponies/horses.
