calling all poppeteers!!!!!!!!
i have noticed lately that there have been a lack of poppets and poppety discussions(except for the poppet swap).... poppets have helped lots of people through rough times and are just plain fun so why the lack of them?
one word:
inspiration
once one person starts poppeting they inspire others to poppet their version of the poppet or what it reminds them of. But when there are no poppets being made, there is no inspiration..and when there is no inspiration there is no poppets. So i have created a challenge to help us poppet and create and inspire...
OK, first thing, there is no prize whatsoever other than your poppet, the feeling of accomplishment and inspiring others. also depending on how many participants there are there may be a poll
(I'm not sure, cuz i don't want to hurt someones feelings if they don't get many votes Sad)

The challenge
this challenge is from the circus,
i chose this because there are many poppets you can make from it and because the bright happy theme is just thething to get us going...
here are the rules
1)please post your inspiration if you have any
2)if you see someone has the same theme as you (e.i Popsicle stick) DO NOT accuse them of stealing your idea, remember that this challenge is to inspire others so you should be happy they liked your idea and want to make one of their own and remember what a wise person once said- "great minds think alike."
3)if it is not circus theme please don't include it, you can (obviously) still post it in the poppet along but don't do what i will say next
4)when posting it here in the poppet along please right at the top something like
this is my magician poppet for the poppet challenge
and if you post it in the toys dolls and playthings board please poppet challenge before the title like so:
Poppet challenge: The amazing tricks of the grrrreat Houdini poppet!
5)do not pressure yourself this is for fun, while there is a time limit it is very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very long!
6)post in here by july 20(sooner if you can)
7) do post it once you are done, don't wait 2 months cuz then we won't get the inspiration going and the whole idea here is to inspire
these are the rules now here are some ideas

clown
mime
junk food
acrobat
magician
lion fighter person (it's not called that but you get the point)
