for my wee monkey's 4th birthday tomorrow, she asked that I indulge her passion for princesses.  So, here's a whip together cinderella dress with the evil 3 for fabrics: satin, organza, and chiffon.  It's not exactly as lovely as it should be, if I had more time, energy, and imagination this week but since we are doing a birthday party - including the birthday cake to top all others made by The Man (which is amazing, I'm definitely posting pics), the monkey's starting school, a wedding on saturday (not mine  Grin), AND I started a new job this week, I've been interviewing babysitters, on top of dealing with tech difficulties of printing a 24 x 36 pattern sheet (the machine melts glue stick!  I'm a craftster, I need to use glue stick) and, oh, did I mention the baby is teething?, so we shall just be satisfied its done.  whew!

I will stop whining now...

oh, I just remembered I forgot to make the choker from the velvet ribbon... urm, tomorrow hopefully.

comments/questions always welcome  Smiley

edit:
party pics!  could not make that kid stand still!  you can see her hair parting in the wind created by her running

Um, wow.  It's beautiful, and it's simply amazing that you got it done along with everything else you had going on.  Is your forehead flatter from all the banging against your sewing table that you must have done, dealing with those fabrics?

Monkey is adorable as ever, and looks very happy to be 4 Smiley

oh my god - I'm getting serious flashbacks right now.  My mom made me a Cinderella dress once upon a time ago!!!!  I also had a snow white one.  I think they were Halloween outfits?  IDK I've always been a Disney chick.  That looks amazing tho, you're such a good mom to do that for your daughter.  She's adorable : )
