On behalf of the moon, I'll punish you! (Sailor Moon Pillowcases)

So I was surfing around Etsy, when I found a seller that had fat quarters of Sailor Moon fabric. Since Sailor Moon was my gateway into Japanese animation, I ended up buying all four FQs that were for sale. I showed it to a couple of friends who also liked Sailor Moon and they asked me to make something for them. I decided to make flange pillowcases since I've never done them before. I used the Sailor Moon fabric on the fronts and cheap fat quarters from Hancock for the backs.

I didn't know that the fabric I bought had John Deere logos on it until I was ready to use it. Thankfully, my friends have a weird sense of humor. It's East meets West!

I still have two fat quarters left, mailed to me as a long rectangle, but honestly I don't want to make it into anything. I want to hoard for myself as is. As a crafty gal, does that make me crazy? Either way, I'm happy with how these came out and my friends love them.

haha, so cute! i'm really into japanese animation too, and the first anime i ever saw was an episode of sailor moon where she kisses a caterpillar (it was a long time ago, and my memory is hazy), but ever since then i've always loved everything manga and anime!

i havent quite progressed to DVD yet, all my sailor moon is on VHS.
