So you want to get your friend a gift, but don't have the $250 to shell out for a Wii?  For less than a tenth of that , you can craft her a faux-Wii out of her PS2.

Which Wii is Which?

Supplies:
2 skeins Patons Classic Wool (Aran)
1 skein Patons Classic Wool (Dark Grey)
Size 7 knitting needles
1 yarn needle

I made a test swatch to see how the yarn would felt.  That turned out to be useless, since the actual cozy shrank way more than the swatch did.  I ended up having to turn the cozy sideways from the original design.  The width was done as one long panel, and the two sides were sewn in then washed to felt.  The face was stitch on.

Before...

After!

Thanks for looking!

Awesome.  At first I thought it was a Wii cozy for a Wii, and then thought that wouldn't it be funny if. . .blah blah blah, but you DID IT!  The idea must have come through the irony of your project.

Great job!

Oh, my brothers would kill me if I made a Wii costume for their PSP! They wouldn't have the sense of humor necessary to embrace such a gift.

It's still really funny.  Wink
