Hi, I'm new to this board, and I'm looking for a good place to donate craft supplies in the Phoenix area.

Specifically, I inherited a lot of candlemaking supplies or soap making supplies, including molds, wicks, wax, and some candles.  I love to craft but have no time to make my own candles.  Anyway, I would love to donate all the materials to a charity or church or organization that would use them (maybe a charity that makes and sells their own candles to raise money or a charity that uses crafts for rehabilitation purposes).  Because candle making and soap making require chemicals and heat, probably not a good craft for children.

Any ideas?  I'd really appreciate some input.  Thanks!

try calling a few local churches/temples or high schools in the ares and see if they are interested. They might be for upcoming holiday fairs. that would probably be your easiest (cheapest) way. If no takers, post it on Craigslist and make yourself a couple of dollars knowing you saved someone else some cash Smiley
