I made this for my partner in the Labyrinth swap.  I have really loved all of the Amy Butler Weekender bags I've seen around here, so I decided to make something similar.  I didn't buy the pattern because, 1. I am cheap, 2. I love figuring things out for myself, and 3. I'm a glutton for punishment.  I made one before this that was a little closer to the original with the front pocket and straps going down the front, but it didn't turn out as well.

These were taken by my partner, Michowl.

There's a zippered pocket on the inside that I didn't get a picture of.

Life is too short to finish boring WIPs.

Very nice! I've made several "I wish I were Amy Butler" bags. I love trying to figure the patterns out without any actual directions. It makes sewing alot more fun!
