Wow, your internet goes down for 24 hours and look what you miss.  What a great gallery.

I really love that wallhanging - even with the creepy clown  Wink.  The ghost in a jar is such a great idea - for some reason ghosts are MUCH better in jars than those fairies.

And very nice shrine MaRut - love the way you put those images together.

My partner finally got to go home - yippee.  So her package is finally on its way to her.

It's not that I don't want to swap, it's that I often don't have time.  But feel free to ask (especially if it's one that's not too time consuming).

That shrine is so beautiful Mar Rut!

I love how you put all those vintage elements together. And the glitter on the front is perfect. Smiley

Love that shrine, Ma Rut. The glitter really shows off the flowers and the vintage images inside are wonderful. Great job!

And my partner should get her package today. Whoot!

EDIT: The package has been delivered. Happy Halloween, Karen!  Smiley

Just noticed that the pics weren't showing up - don't know why.  So, I'm putting them back in and adding one I missed last time

You said it - Happy Halloween to ME  Grin

What a great package I received from Mellifluous - you'd never guess it was her first swap - or that she'd been evacuated TWICE during the crafting period - or that she hadn't been able to return home for a crazy long time.  I don't know how she did it.

Group shot - Photo album (so cool), cute witch duck, decoupaged candle (the BEST smelling candle ever - the whole box smelled good when we opened it) - and the piece de resistance - awesome cross stitched trivet:

Photo Album - this is SO cute in person - don't you think the skeleton looks like he just stepped off the golf course?  I tried to show the cool 3-d bone letters in the photo - but they look much better in person.  I'm torn between using it as a photo album or adding some other pages and making it a swap journal/photo album.  I need one and how cool would it be to use this all year round?

Trivet - can you believe this?  I had a hard time getting a photo - glare issues.  But it is SO detailed.  I really love everything - but this just blows me away:

I'm so glad you like everything, Karen. It was fun finding the images to stitch. I have to admit I had some creative consulting help from my brother, who decided a little acrylic fabric bonding would help keep Mr. Skull on the photo album. He also filled in the spider by hand when the rubber stamping failed to transfer a complete image, and suggested the gold accents on the eye and cap. I know he'll be as excited as me to know how much you like everything. My sister found those bony letters when we were shopping. I was so grateful because it seemed just the right touch.

There was a card with a dancing skeleton in the package too. It's just a silly little thing but I hope it made the trip with the rest of the stuff. I also had some help with the packing.  Grin

I was really wondering how you did that photo album - very nice!

And I DID completely miss the card.  Glad you mentioned it - I went back to the box and there it was - one more surprise Grin

I don't think I'll ever use it as a card though - cuz I can't imagine letting go of it Wink

See photo above - I added it there

Oh, goody! I was hoping it hadn't fallen out in the packing. I was going to put a poem in it but then I thought, "Well, maybe she'd like to send it to someone." and this way you'd have a choice.

I like your idea of having a swap photo album. It would be great to have a record of all the cool stuff exchanged and with whom.
