Ah. Now I get to do what I've been wanting to but haven't had time for.

Rackycoo: The black cat box and the witch sculpture are wonderful. I love the look of the cat, so vintage looking. The trick or treating witch is so well done and looks like she's having a great time filling her treat bag.

DanniQuee: That pumpkin wall hanging is awesome, and I love the little danglies. I don't know what it's made of but the colors and design are great. The fortune teller shrine is also amazing. I love the tiny table and tarot cards. What a cool idea.

Hippiejo: That's some excellent knitting on the dishcloths. I'd love to have that pattern. The ornaments are cute and the journal and extras are fun.

Pupper: I saw that "Paw Readings" design on the needlework board, done with cats, and I loved it. Your version with the dogs is equally excellent. I also love the witch cats. Adorable! You did a good job with the sculpting. I've never tried anything like that, but your design makes me want to give it a go.

Hoppy: Wow! Just Wow! You drew that? That pin up witch is beyond awesome. Then that shrine... The cat, the toothy grinned pumpkin, the background, all super! I love it all. Then you made that octopus as well. I'm running out of adjectives here. You are seriously talented.

It's as much fun to look at the gallery as it was crafting for this one. There's some great stuff here.

Thanks M!

The wall hanging is made from white sculpey clay that I rolled out and hand cut. I coloured it with acrylic paints and sealed it with glossy Mod Podge. Smiley

I got the most wonderful package today from goatgoddess! First came this great wall hanging (gg knows I love a creepy clown  Cheesy)

The poem on the bottom reads:
Should your curiosity prompt you wrong
And you look in the mirror too soon,
You will see instead of your lover true,
A clown or perchance a loon.

Oh good grief, what were they trying to pull on those poor kids back then?  Cheesy This is too cool.

Then, check out this little captured ghostie. It looks like we caught him like a bug, put him in a jar and tried to make him comfortable.

Now that I'm looking at this enlarged pic, it looks like a little part of his arm broke off. Not to worry; I'll have him back up and haunting in no time!

Thanks so much, gg. I love my vintage Halloween goodies!

I didn't know that sculpey clay was so versitile. The sculpting and painting is impressive. That's what I love about this site, you get so many great ideas. I can't do most of them, but I love seeing them just the same.  Smiley

Goatgoddess: I love that wall hanging. That vintage card is cool. I love the images on those old cards. The captured ghost is cute. I love his little heart. So, what do you feed those things when you keep them as pets? lol

so glad you like your package - poor ghostie broke his arm - thought I had him wrapped up good but I think they play football with some of these packages at the post office  Sad

Heading off to the State Fair of Texas in Dallas in just a bit - got a dairy goat show this weekend - will be checking in everyday (morning and evening) for updates Smiley

I fixed his poor arm. A little superglue, and he is good as new. You can't even tell.  Smiley

He was wrapped well. I don't know how they managed to bang him around so.

That wallhanging is fabulous! I dislike clowns immensely, so I would have heeded that rhyme!

The ghost in a jar was a great idea. I'm glad his arm is fixed.

I love this gallery! There's so much great stuff! Cheesy

veganxwater/Strutter received from me today Grin She is camera-less so I'll be postin' pics...

I had really, really, really wanted to make a shrine after seeing what everyone made last year and my partner just so happened to like altered tins and things, so this is what I came up with Smiley

I made from one of those $3-ish unfinished wooden boxes from Michael's. It had a cool raised flower design and I really wanted to accentuate it so I brought out the glitter. The rest is mostly paper printouts of vintage images I found. I made a fabric yoyo for the door and used spanish moss for the inside. I also included a big stack of vintage Halloween postcards because I know she digs 'em Smiley And some gummi bears Cheesy

I love that, Ma Rut! That glitter is the perfect touch for the front of that box. I also love the images you used inside.
