So, today was the first day of classes and the student's union at the university where I work gives out hundreds of these free agendas to students (I'm taking a couple of courses this year for personal interest and figured I'd grab one to help keep track of not only school stuff but work stuff as well).  Thing is, since they're free, everyone else has one and because they look exactly the same I wanted to make mine look different since over a thousand other people will be carrying them around (and losing them, no doubt).

So I quickly whipped up this agenda/book cover with some cute Japanese hedgehog fabric I ordered recently from etsy:

As usual, I winged it (no pattern) --- it was so easy, I really should make a tutorial (though I'm sure it's been done a ton of times before on here)...

SO CUTE!!  And you are smart, a useful giveaway can easily get mixed up, what a great way to personalize and protect it!

So you pretty much did it like the paper bag book covers we used to make?  Hmm, you could even use fabric glue instead of stitching, easy-peasy!
