lol  I totally agree!  I love sherbert and I have been having an obsession with orange lately.  As a former lap quilt swap partner, I love to see your completed work as well!  very nice

Thanks everyone!  I have been using it at night since it is beginning to get chilly.  I am trying to hold onto summer as long as possible.Smiley  If you haven't tried free motion quilting, I say go for it.  I definitely have some mistakes, but it was a lot of fun to try.

That is sooo scrummy, I love that range of fabrics but my quilt store here has never had them in, must go and order some I think.

I wanna take this sherbert thing and run with it, I wonder if its possible to make an orange sherbert sorbet? must investigate Cheesy

Free-motion rocks doesn't it, I don't do anything else these days.

BOTH sides of this quilt are stunning!  Your pieced backing reminds me of the improvisational African American quilts I am so fond of.  Your machine quilting is amazing too--I can't wait to try it myself.  Great work!
