Whoa. What a bag-o-crap! Seriously... it's crap. Wow. Fugly crap. I hope you can get this resolved with a good outcome. It's so sad that this situation is even happening to you. I'm no expert w/sewing in anyway, but I would never DREAM of sending s#!t like that out once, let alone TWICE!!

Well, he said that since it's not on eBay they can't do it under "not as described"...and it arrived, so I can't file it under not arrived. So, I think that avenue is closed.

I think you said he is in Canada so BBB might not be much help.
You could try sending snail mail or not using customer service but writing directly to the owners/founders/CEO.
There is also the Attorney General. Might not get your money back but make them aware of the problem so that they can't ignore or plead ignorance.

He can easily change his business name but there is a site for gripes. I can't remember the name of it but I might look tomorrow.

That purse is laughable and ridiculous.  How this talentless guy even found etsy is a wonder...

I think you should consider filing a mail fraud complaint.  There is a category for misrepresentation of product.  Nothing may come of it, but why not?

I can understand if you want to give up, but if you don't..

This was one of the best articles I've ever seen on dealing with customer service. It's helped me with PayPal, Ebay, Etsy, and problems with my husbands credit card company lol

I think your letter of complaint is very good and sticks to the facts.  What a mess!  That seller is certainly a fraud if he thinks he can sell bags of that quality for $60   Shocked
