Bert is awesome!  I love his unibrow and his hair, and I can't believe how much work this must have been!  Really cute, and funny too. 

Can you stitch in a bit of velcro at the top to keep him closed?  Amazing beadwork, thanks for sharing!
omg I was going to say the exact same thing!except I was going to suggest sticky velcro no sewing needed!
