Kappy, thank you very much for the link. I'm going there now.

I am a potter and I have a kiln with just a sitter (not a controller -it fires up to about 2100F).  I'm curious to learn if I can slump glass using cones to control the temp. I'll look it up and give it a go if I can. I so appreciate your inspration!
