This sounds like fun! I've been lurking around here for a few weeks..hi! But, I'm definitely going to do this. I'm now so excited to go to the grocery store! Usually I go on Saturdays and Saturday isn't getting here fast enough!!  Grin

I was all excited for this project - a cheapy that wouldn't take too much time, that is inspiring, etc. And I thought I knew exactly what to make and where to wear it (I have a dress-up unthemed 21st next week! score!!)... Then I thought that the idea does not really epitomise "Supermarket Sacrilege", and so I got worried and figured I would never come up with something. (all within a week...)

I have now searched an online supermarket for some ideas, and, goodness gracious - the possibilities are endless!!! My only problem now is - what to do! I'm almost tempted to ask everyone what is the best idea, but that kind of ruins the surprise. So, if anyone is willing to bounce ideas to assist in refining - I'd be ever so grateful!! (please PM me!!)

I'm confused about the edible part -- does this mean that it has to contain something that could be taken off the craft and eaten, or that we could use something that was once edible but is now part of the craft? For instance, what if I wanted to include gummy bears but I wanted to make them shinier and long lasting by coating them in clear nail polish? Is that allowed?

What about cosmetics?  The stores here have an aisle just for them.
