My first project with my new serger! *hugs serger*
I used a lovely wool and posh lining, so it's soft soft soft. I think it's very wearable, or will be when it cools off - I got my sweat on taking the pics in this California summer day!

I think I jacked the sleeves up a tad, the lining is pulling them up but meh, the world will survive.

Excuse the no makeup and needs-to-be-washed hair! (also it is unhemmed while I decide exactly how long I want it.) I think a slightly softer coloured belt would make it better, but the black is all I have for now.

The dress is regular/expected size in the bust but bigger through waist and hips, I think it's meant to have that slouchy thing going on and be belted, but I suppose you could easily take in the underarm/side seams in one fell swoop to make this nice and fitted.

Can't wait for winter Cheesy LOVE fall and winter clothes so much more than summer.

Gorgeous! I really love cowl necks. They always look so elegant.

I'm addicted!

love is a verb, not a noun.

God is Good. God is Love.
