My mom sent me this link to a free pattern on Martha Stewart's website and asked me if I would make the tote bag for her. Of course I said yes...


I love the pillowcases! she sent 2 so I can make myself one.



I think it came out well and it was really quick to make.

I tried copying the link to here and it didn't work...here's a picture of the pattern

It's called Sleeper of a bag - I'm sure it can be found by searching her site Smiley

Yay thanks for the post, I made one too out of a great bright orange pillowcase I wasn't using.  It's perfect for school, fits a binder and one textbook.  I triple-stitched the bottom so it wouldn't rip thru from the weight.
