Ok I've scanned the package from CrossStitchinMomma as hubby has the camera with him.

I received 2 knitted washcloths in red. They are great patterns.

And 2 potholders in green. The bigger one is double thickness so will be great for hot pots.

Thanks again CSM

I received a wonderful skein of handspun yarn from The Noodle Princess!  My camera didn't catch the blues as well as the greens -- it's very watery and reminiscent of my beloved Lake Superior on a bright summer's day.  I LOVE IT...

My camera also didn't pick up the sparkly thread running through this work - it's just a touch, like sunshine reflecting off a roughened pond!  Noodle reports this yarn contains corridale, merino, colonial, soysilk, and angelina!  It's both firm and soft.  I am going to bet it will be fun to work with.

This picture picks up the darker shades.  TNP also sent me intriguing pictures of BC taped to the outside of the shipping envelope, a local magazine (very enjoyable read) and a postcard with whales.  I have a sudden urge to visit BC!  Thanks, Danika!  I love this yarn!

The gallery so far is great! I really need to post pictures of my awesome packages. First I got the coolest knitted bag for my sister, I know she will love it and I'll post action pictures when I give it to her in a few weeks. I also got a crochete frankenpus from zombiecazz and I'm thinking about taking my boyfriends advice and fastening him on a knitted hat to make sure he follows me everywhere...

addicted2knitting made me a really pretty needle roll using placemats and sent along some sock yarn and candy too. You need to see that needle roll, it's great!

I received 2 great packages for this swap!

Let's start with the first from bkrenning4 - she sent me not one, but TWO whimsie jars from my wists!! They are chock a block full of really fun stuff. I've put all my favorite things near the front of each photo.

Both together:

The one on the left has beads and the one on the right is random whimsie stuff

Jar O' Beads:

She also included a lovely gold and brown necklace which I forgot to take a photo of! but it's right in front. I made a necklace with the beads already: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=272001

Stuff:

THANK YOU bkrenning4!! I love these!!!

And up next, my second package from MareMare - she picked a few things off my wist and she picked well!

Some supplies:
The tins and the fabric are straight off my wish list!

And did you spy the puzzle pieces? They are some sweet little pendants:

The real kicker is the next item - Doodle Stitching!! I have been wanting this book for awhile;

THANK YOU MAREMARE!!!

Great packages, Ladies! Thanks again to both of you!

Here's a teaser picture. It's Frankenpus (made by zombiecazz) hanging out with my Zombie bunny. Hmm... and there's a heatpad I got in another OWS-swap in the background.

I'll try to upload the rest as soon as I find my camera cord again...

Wow, really unique, bkrenning4! I like the color on the leaves. Did you use mica powder for that effect?

Between the two of you the unique jewelry market is cornered!  Nice work, bk!!!!

I have to agree!!  That is really neat BK!!

After almost giving up hope that either the Canadian Post or the US Postal service ate my package from Cya waaay back on September 16th, it was finally waiting for me in my mailbox on Saturday! And I'm SO thrilled that they didn't eat it because it's just so cool.

(sorry it looks so wrinkled in the picture - it's been shoved in a box for almost a month!)

It's an awesome tote with two small carry handles and one long strap and it has the coolest phoenix on it ever. It's painted and then decoratively stitched outline and details. Seriously, the details are amazing. She also included some tea and some microscope slides which I've been wanting to make pendants with for months now. (Oh and the slides were wrapped in a cute fabric cloth that she embroidered with my PhoenixFire Designs logo.)

Detail on the bag:

The picture doesn't do it justice. The color variation in the painting is great - all reds/oranges/yellows - and the stitching looks so cool.

I LOVE IT. Thank you so much, Cya!  Grin
