My boyfriend Matt (second from the right in the action shot) and I made this banner for his band, DevilsClub, to put on stage at their shows.

We started by spray painting all of the vinyl black.  Then we made a stencil of the words, cutting out the letters (and being careful to keep them perfectly in tact!)  We taped down the stencil of the letters and spray painted it red.  When it dried, we put the cut out paper letters over top of the letters we had just painted red and put the silver around it.  When it was all said and done, I liked it.  But I didn't really realize how much I liked it until I saw it on stage this past weekend!  Here's an action shot (don't mind that one of them is in a wonder woman outfit...)

I should also mention that Dave (guitar player all the way to the left) made the frame that its in.

Thanks for looking!

It looks good in the close-up but you are right, from a distance it looks even better.  With all of that details it must've been challenging to keep the cut-outs in tact.  Very professional!

Wow, I love the lettering! And the silver really makes the band's name stand out.
