Hey gang! So I've always wanted to own one of those Chinese dragon masks that they make dragon trains with, so recently I decided to make one with a little of my own style mixed in. So here it is (thanks to my awesome roommate and her mannequin head for modeling for me  Cheesy)

Oh! And I wish I had a picture of this, but his teeth and two little pinpricks in his eyes are glow-in-the-dark and look pretty freaking horrifying, since all you can see in the dark are a big pair of jaws and beady little eyes.

Aaaanyway if you want to make your own dragonny friend, what I did was get a thrift store baseball helmet (only about $1.50) and make the basic form out of newspaper and masking tape. Then I took plaster bandages and plastered over the whole thing. I painted it with regular acrylic paint and added lots of detail with dyed/painted paper. The teeth and eye pinpricks are polymer clay. Whew!
