I also have my parents fluffy persians. I don't have any photos of one, Chole, because they just adopted her. They have Valerie a blue point persian and Chole and white persian. They look like salt and pepper shakers together.

Here's some photos of Valerie (she's 10):

(photo of her in the sink as a kitten. she loved sleeping in bowls and sinks)

Here's a cute video of her getting a bath on youtube

I guess she's used to them but she's a very calm cat. She kind of is growling in the video, which is why I have music in there. Our family calls it "steam heat" because it sounds a little like a tea kettle. Grin Giving her a bath takes maybe 30 minutes, most of that is blow drying her. We do it maybe a couple times during the spring and summer, nothing major. It's just to keep her from over cleaning herself.

That video is adorable! I had a flat face when I was a kid, they're so sweet. He was such a funny cat, he *loved* catnip. Spilled some on the floor and he would sit with his face flat on the floor for hours, it was hilarious.

I'm so jealous of all of you who can take photos of your cats.

My cat believes the camera will steal her soul.

She recognizes ANY camera - from webcam to regular, flash or no flash. She just has to see it, and she starts in on a litany of meowing (clearly calling me all kinds of bad names). And then she runs, and will not come out from hiding until the camera is out of my hand.

I'm am sooo bummed out that I have STILL not caught onto a newbie swap...LOL.
I swear for some reason, I just never CATCH them. I hope no one minds that I post
pictures of my girls. Now,  a little information on them... Fluffy (obviously named:P)
and Lara are sisters. They were the only two born from my cat Luna. Luna passed away
two months after having them; she was an all black cat. Lara is exactly what her mom
looked like, except grey. We have no idea what the dad looked like, because mom got out
and came home apparently knocked up.  Cheesy Cheesy Grin

You don't need to do another swap first you can do this one, I had newbies in my last cat swap and I have seen that alot of people didnt start wth a newbie swap either.

oops... is that generally how it is done?  The newbies do the newbie swap?  I saw the disney one and just had to do it.  That was a blast!  Can't wait to start this one! I love seeing all the kitties that we are crafting for!

I don't know. I never did the newbie swap either. I didn't even know there was one!

I did a nature swap for my first. It was great. Addicted ever since then.  Cheesy
