My son loves it when I crochet things for him, and friday he seen some of my varigated yarn and asked if I could make him some camo gloves with it.  Well, he hates how its hard to grab things with bulky gloves on, so I decided to make some fingerless gloves.  I couldnt find a free sc pattern for them so, I just winged it.  I wrote everything down though when I made the first glove, that way the second one would match exactly.  I then crocheted black around the edges and the thumb hole.  I finished them this morning and my son loves them!  Hes been wearing them all day.  Hubby thinks they are great because of the camo colors too.

My sons would love these!  Unfortunately, I can't knit or crochet because these would be the biggest hit!  Your son is very lucky and they turned out super cool.  I might even wear something like this  Grin.
