i will claim chibilightangel for some fun batts for spinning.

this is my second claim. 0 sent, 0 received

Hi, my name is Danika and I live in BC, Canada. I'm 31, married, no kids. I live on a small farm with my hubby and our dog, cats and chickens.
i'm a thrift store junkie. i love nature, trees, birds, flowers, sea creatures, vintage/retro/kitschy things. my favourite color is green, but i love all colors.  I love natural fibers like wool, cotton, bamboo etc.
I like wearable or functional things as I am trying to de-clutter my house.  Smiley

I don't like Disney or anything TOO cutesy. I really love hand-made or recycled things and i avoid sweatshop made stuff as much as possible.

My Etsy favorites has examples of stuff i like for ideas. Sorry, there's ALOT of pages. lol.
http://www.etsy.com/favorite_listings_public.php?user_id=5546058

There's more info in my craftster profile too. Please PM for size info or any other questions!

woo hoo! ok my wishes are:

CRAFTED STUFFS

-anything inspired by my Etsy faves: http://www.etsy.com/favorite_listings_public.php?user_id=5546058

-sewn oven mitts! we really need a new pair. any colors, but dark or bright colors is good. THANK YOU!

-fabric pages for a baby activity book, it is a baby gift for a new mom, some friends and I are putting it together for her.  Each page has a "skill"- buttoning, tying, etc. or is just fun to look at. these are some ideas:
Peek a boo
Bells in kitty's bow
Crinkly butterfly wings
tie a shoe
Dog in Doghouse
Zipper corn cob
button flowers
nest with eggs
Make the pieces 8 1/2 inches square (leave 1/4 inch for seam allowance) and try to make them washable.  If you include a second blank square we can pad them with fleece and put a backing on them.

-an over-the-door shoe organizer. there is a tutorial for one in the latest issue of Bust magazine!

-a hanging circular knitting needle holder, like the one in Stitch n Bitch or a roll-up case for circulars.

-a zippered cosmetic case, made of oilcloth or vinyl. Sparkly vinyl would be amazing!!

-luggage tags, vinyl or fabric with a clear vinyl window?

-Bobby pins. I wear them in my hair everyday. With buttons or little felted balls would be nice, nothing too big.
I love these;

I claim CrossStitchinMomma for hand puppets or finger puppets for her son. This will be fun to knit! Grin This is my first claim with three allowed 0 sent, 0 recieved.

I'm a 26 year old pharmacist from Sweden. I'm currently pretty much living in a suitcase since I started my very first job in a "new" (for me) part of the country... We're moving to our new flat the 15th october but until then we're living with my parents in law. I managed to pack all my yarn but most of my other crafty stuff is in my old flat.

I'm a knitter and right now I love portable knits that I can work on during my busrides to and from work in a tiny hillbilly town. Double pointed needles are my weapon of choice and I love knitting socks and small crazy animals.

I'm ok with thrifted and secondhand materials as long as it's clean. I love it when old things can be reused and reborn as something crafty.

Likes: Dark purple, shades of red, autumn colours, black combined with other colours. Morbid, cute and evil, fluffy, soft, shiny.

Dislike: Pastels, too cute and frilly.

List will be expanded once I get home from work! I'm on my lunchbreak now...

Crafts:
A shoulderbag for my sister. Sewing is not my strongest skill Smiley Something like a messenger bag with a few pockets inside perhaps? She likes mushroom/toadstool patterns and also vintage/retro.

Cloth pads, they don't have to be fancy but I like crazy fabric to bleed on.

A mystery yarn ball. I missed the swap this time too... Something portable and bus friendly for the project would be nice, but I'm open for a surprise too.

Perhaps you could decorate a pen I could use when working? Nothing that could scare little old ladies or look too unprofessional, please... Wink

Dpn project holder, there are a few ideas in my wist.

Capsule earrings (again, there's a link in my wist)

A surprise from my wist

Supplies:
I don't really need more yarn, but I want more yarn  Grin For socks I like wool and wool/acrylic blends, but I'm willing to try new things

Sock yarn in a fun colourway, I like self striping/self patterning or varigated. Not Garnstudios Fable since I can easily get that

Bare sock yarn for dying with kool aid. (wool or animal fibre please)

Fun colourful cotton or other dishcloth yarn.

Extras:
Candy from your country?

I claim hngoodlett for a wisty surprise, a sleep mask, and handmade soap.

This is my 4th claim this round, 3 sent, 2 received.

Hi, Im Mary Ann and I live in the rainy Pacific Northwest, USA. My boyfriend lives on the other side of the country, so that is kinda tough. I have 3 nephews (Sweetie (4), Monster (3) and Stinky (4mo.) My main crafts are soap making and other bath and body (lip balm, lotions, scrubs, bath truffles, masks, etc), crochet, and sewing, but I dabble in jewelry, scrapbooking/card making, cross stitch, embroidery, and anything else that catches my fancy. Right now my obsession is attempting to quilt. I like most colors but in certain combinations only, there is a long list in my profile.  I dont like black and hot pink together.

No real allergies, except wispy yarn like mohair makes me sneezy and itchy and I can't wear necklaces at all and have to be careful with other jewelry (needs to be loose and high quality/breathable material) because I have contact dermititis. I don't care for knick-knacks or amigurami or things that just take up space (I am trying to cut the clutter!) Decorations that can go on the wall are great, versus stuff that needs to sit on a surface. Things I love~ large scale floral designs, nintendo~anything Zelda or Mario, DOGWOOD BLOSSOMS, Greek mythology, Egypt, genetic engineering, books, grammar, hamsters, fake suede fabric, craft books, Project Runway, and my nephews.

Crafted projects:

One of these letter boxes~ If it had brown and green ribbon that would be awesome! http://www.wists.com/maremare312/bde9b5d1b9e29793ce8cfe642ceda33a?offset=0

A fun scarf! Something kinda girly but without any frou frou yarn (no fun fur, etc, please)

Or this ruffle scarf. http://www.wists.com/maremare312/0fd9173c7e6f08f4fd12d9652ef04819 Any color

Thread catcher for my sewing machine! I make the biggest mess when I sew.

Fused glass earrings (sterling silver findings please) or ring (size 10, I have large fingers plus rheumatoid arhtritis).

A DS Case for the original style, larger ds. I can send measurements. I bought myself a DS Lite and am giving the chunky DS to my boyfriend. If it was decorated with transformers or World of Warcraft or Marvel comics or similar nerdiness he would be in heaven.

3d style artwork. Some cool "altered book" style paper wonderfulness or something quilled would rock.

Wallhangings--embroidered, felted, whatever, some examples in my wist. Themes could be: desert/southwest, ocean, forest, sunset

Quilted/pieced pot holders. The kind with slits in the back for your hands would be awesome. Any colors!

Quilted/pieced coasters

A skirt in this style from my wists. http://www.wists.com/maremare312/5d647d11824af63ed2cf3f46724c30f3 Pm for current size, have been off work with Rheumatoid Arthritis for 5 weeks and gaining weight

Simple floral (large scale) or fern artwork for my walls. Some examples in my wists.

Clutch purse, I love clutches and can never have enough! I would love a very structured, kinda stiff sewn one in either brights (jewel toned purples, fuschias, blues, yellow and turquoise) or neutrals (browns/tans/creams) or else a knit one, I have received several lovely crocheted ones recently.

Has anybody noticed the plethora of hedgehog adorableness lately? I would love a project bag or tote bag made of hedgehog fabric and/or embroidered with hedgehogs

Or other project bags, if they had some kind of flap and closure (zipper, velcro, snaps, whatever) and were big enough to put supplies in for small sewing projects (I tend to cut out a bunch at the same time and sew later, would like to keep together with notions) or medium to large sized for crochet projects. These ones would be more for storage than "on the go" project bags. Thanks Sansa!

Decorated picture frames for pics of my nephews in various sizesas long as they can hang on the wall please, I do not have much counter space. Could be decorated with simple shapes, numbers, alphabets, ninja turtles, superheroes, veggie tales, or anything that would appeal to little boys. Also have a baby nephew, so more baby-ish designs are ok too

Some kind of budget/organizational system notebook, with a weekly, and monthly calendar, a pocket for receipts, a spot to keep my budget and write lots of notes and hold a pen.

8 inch knit or crocheted square(s) in black, white (pure white, not off-white or cream please) or gray (any shades) or combos of any of those. Any pattern, from simple stitches to traditional granny to wacky 3 d floral granny type stuff.

A heavy duty-ish case for my camera, please pm for dimensions, it is kinda big (compared to all these gum pack sized ones out now!) I would really like it to be strong, maybe with home dec fabric and padding/batting or lots of interfacing to protect it

A checkbook cover, either in black and white or scarlet. I would love it if had one of those vinyl/plastic flaps at the bottom for my double page carbon checks so they don't bleed through onto the next one.

Any toys or outfits for the boys that incorporate ninja turtles, transformers, trucks, or motorcycles.

If you can make stencils I would love: small scale ones for the boys clothes in boyish themes: trucks, ninja turtles, transformers, etc, larger scale ones for tees and bags for myself. Quotes or silhouettes/outlines from scenes from Office Space, Alice in Wonderland, or Clueless, Project Runway, No Doubt/Gwen Stefani (band pics or song lyrics) um or something else that I like listed in my profile.

Handmade journals, any size Thanks Therisa!

Craft Supplies:

**Big Wishes right now, I am really into quilting stuff!*

Handspun Yarn.  Mmmmm.

** A Deckle. I think thats what its called, the frame/screen thing you need to make paper? I received a paper making kit a while back but dont have one of those so have never used the kit. Thanks Kartiana!

Boy-ish fabric with trucks, cars, etc, at least 1/2 yard please. Preferably not flannel (unless it's really awesome)

**Books on cross stitch or small cross stitch kits in Egyptian or Asian themes, or little boy themes

Hedgehog fabric!

Little craft kits! Do you have cross stitch or latch hook or some other craft kits hanging around that seem like I might like it? Send it my way! (no soap or candle kits please)

Sewing notions/trims. I love piping, rick-rack, bias tape, etc and can use any size/color zippers! Thanks Therisa!

**A nice pile of fat quarters of complementary/contrasting fabrics for learning to quilt/piece. I have a beginning book with some projects to start on. Any colors that go together except hot pink with black please. Right now I am especially loving brown/coral/blue together.

Patterns/Books on~ Tapestry Crochet, the kind with the square chart/graph. Or just charted patterns of something that is related to one of my interests. (Nintendo, no doubt, literature, little boy stuff--its all about my nephews these days)

**Pattern~ quilting, very simplistic, or maybe a pattern for a small wall quilt to start out with? I always see those kits for a small quilt or wall hanging or just a quilt block and think about getting one. Maybe you have one hanging around youre not going to use?

**Quilting or Sewing Magazines

Rubber stamps--used, recycled or handmade. I really could use all kindssayings (happy birthday, holidays, etc), background type images and objects/figures, animals, little boy stuff.

Extras:
Lindt chocolate is always loved  (especially any kind of milk chocolate with nuts)
Pez candy refills

Surprises are always cool, there is a lot of info in my profile and links although.

My Wists ~updated and lots added~ http://www.wists.com/maremare312

Im going to claim FarmGirlJane for scrappy Quilt squares to make this - sizes 2 1/2 inch to 12 1/2 inch

This is my second claim of three.
None sent
None received

Hello there !!
Im Tammy.  Im 36 and im a stay at home mom to three boys in Northern California. I just moved here from OH and love it!!  I like to sew, quilt.  I am starting to get into embroidery and can crochet a little bit.  Im very much into girly type stuff and love anything regency -titanic era. I also love 30s-40s things as well.  I am allergic to nickel.

Here are my wishes
First off any surprise off my wist list is great!!

Crafted Items~~

KNITTED AND CROCHETED

Crocheted Victorian Reticule like this one http://www.knitheaven.com/vintagepatterns/23_LADYS_RETICULE_CROCHET.htm

I love this shawl and am willing to wait longer if anyone will make it for me. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CivilWarShawlKAL/  Im not picky about color.  Would be just happy to even have one.

A crocheted or knitted Sontang.  This is a Civil War era item.  Here is a pattern link to one http://www.csa-scla.org/articles/Sontag.htm#ModernSontag2 I would like one in cream or chocolate brown color.

SEWN

**Civil War Era Cape called a Mathilde Mantilla (Think of a Civil War era Poncho.  This is basically what it is)  Here is a link to the pattern http://www.uvm.edu/%7Ehag/godey/images/s5902170.jpg  and here is an example of what it looks like http://www.thegracefullady.com/civilwargowns/ready-mades_silkmantle.htm Measurements will be provided.  Wool blend or Corduroy would be great. Hood is decorative and is not functional. It only uses around 3 yards.  I would also prefer it lined for warmth. It would be great if I could retain the pattern as well for future projects.  (I can sew I just cant figure out how to make it <frown>) without a pre-drafted pattern.  OR If someone with any drafting skills wouldnt mind drafting a pattern to my size I could play around with it and make my own (If I have a pattern to work with)

Handmade lunch bags!!  I looking for one for each of my boys and hubby.  (Claim for one at a time is fine of course)

Primitive Rageddy Ann doll (An example is in my wists)

Handwarmers like the ones offered at Hot Topic. Victorian Goth ones would be perfect.

I would love a toilet roll holder made of fabric that is hung on the wall.  McCall patterns 8658 & 2721 are examples of what im looking for.

Crazy Quilted Purse
Victorian capelet.  At least waist length please email for length.
Regency or Victorian era Reticule
Petticoat either knee or ankle length !!  (Im 5'5 email for length) (recieved one from farmgirljane and would love more!!)

Slat bonnet or corded can provide links if needed.  Any pattern should do as they are all basically the same result.

Victorian slipper.  This pattern is from 1864
http://www.victoriana.com/VictorianShoes/victorianslipperpattern.html

Bars of handmade soap (the kind that is made from lye).  I have always wanted to try it!!  Lavender, oatmeal, goats milk, citrus are great however any scents are welcome!!  Or soap supplies as I would love to learn how to make my own. Pre-made bars are appreciated as I have young children and am concerned with having lye in the house.      Gonna take a break this round lol

Soap bombs.  Also jars of bath salts would be fantastic as well.

Hand crafted candles are great too.  Prefer either fruit and or spice scented ones or lavender (only floral scented one I like).

Woodworking
I need a shelf for above my bathroom toilet!!  I just moved to a new home and need to decorate my own bathroom (living with 4 boys here I need my girly space lol)  My space from wall to wall is 26" (I can hit each side of the wall while sitting  )  It can be painted, stenciled, decoupaged!!  If painted or stenciled the colors I would like is rose, white, mustard or country blue (I have a piece of metal artwork directly above it and these are the colors in it).  I just ask that it have a victorian flare (especially if decoupaged please) to it!!  Other then that surprise me!!

~~Supplies~~

Hobby Lobby and Michaels crafts have Victorian style sewing supplies!! Sadly I am no longer local to either (actually no Hobby Lobby in CA) I would love some small stork sissors, seam ripper ( I have lost my cheapy plastic one) thread cutter (I dont expect all three of course unless you want to. Feel free to pick one or so) (Irasema sent me a pincushion and needle holder.  Thank you so much!!)

Patterns!!  I am 80 miles from a Joanns or Hancocks (sniff sniff).  I need envelopes with a size 14 & 16 included in the envelope for dresses and tops and a 16 for skirts.  Thanks!!
Vogue~~ 1048...1023..2934.. .2884...2968...1239 ...1038...8352...80 03
Simplicity~~ 2851
McCalls~~ 5714...5717
Any patterns by Truly Victorian, Laughing Moon, Folkwear and Sense and Sensibility (really wanting the Spencer pattern and Regency Dress).

Im always needing thread for sewing and this always stays on my list. I go through alot of black and white but love new colors too!!  The more the merrier and gently used is welcomed too !!

2 yard lengths of eyelet trims and any color is welcome !!

Buttons!!

Sewing Needles sizes 11/14 Ball Point and Regular.  Name brand quality preferred such as singer or comparative.

Patterned Ribbons is also welcomed too (again another one of my standbys lol)!!

New or Unwanted Issues of Threads ( I have all of 2003 2006-2008 Though I dont have the brand newer issues yet 137 or 138  Embarrassed !!!) and Burda World of Fashion Magazine !! (I have a few ...1/06** 7/03**4/05**)
(used is fine) Knipmode, Ottobre, Patrones, La Mode

Gothic Lolita Bible Magazine (used is just fine) (these have patterns in them)

Purse supplies.  Silver Victorian clasps would be great too.  (Im good for regular purse handles for now thanks so much to MimiW!!)

Scrapbooking items  (trims, paper, stickers anything!!).  Im also looking for some things like brads, ribbons, fancy paper, scissors.  Im also looking for corner punchers, rulers for making fancy torn edges and hole punchers (I have a heart one)

Im also looking for a decorated (painted/decoupaged/stained ect) box for my scrapbooking paper 12X12.  Would prefer an old vintage look

Beading supplies like wire 18 gauge or higher, beads, spacers.   Issues of beading magazines and jewelry making (new or used).   Im also needing jewlery making supplies too.

Vintage Sewing Patterns!!  36 Bust is perfect.
Im especially trying to find a Jumper from 1948(?) Simplicity 2705

Knitting and crochet magazines would be great (pre-loved older issues are fine as well!!) and any other info geared to beginning knitting!!   And some yarn!!  I would prefer not to recieve any 100% acrylic.  However wool, cotton, silky whatever!!  All colors are welcome (well except neon bright bright colors).

Im looking for corset making supplies. boning, 13.5" busk, lacing!!

Sublime Embroidery patterns ~~Gothic, Pinup, Craftopia, Sushi Bar, Dress up

Books
**The Perfect Fit : The classic guide to altering patterns
**Fast Fit (I have checked this book out of the library so many times im shocked they dont check with me first before loaning it out to anyone lol) or More Power Sewing both by Sandra Betzina

I have a new kitten that we all absolutely adore!!  Anything for him would be great!!  Cat pillow, toys with cat nip, bags of good cat nip to make him some with, kitty treats

EXTRAS

Candy from outside the US, Including but not limited to, (NZ~~Minties, Pineapple Lumps and Wittakers) Kit Kats!!

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows book

My husband collects law enforcement patches.  I would love to get a bunch for him for his birthday in Sept.  If you live near a prison, jail or other LE facility perhaps they would let you have one???  He gets his this way by asking and they are usually happy to give him one.  My husband loves asian things as well as LE related (he is a correctional officer) and anything relating to the park service (Smokey the Bear gets double marks lol!!). He is a fan of Bruce Lee and any DVD (he has VHS) movies or any craft with him inspired would be wonderful!!  Or perhaps a stenciled t-shirt of Bruce Lee.  He would be thrilled to recieve something just for him (It also continues him to encourage me to swap.  Ya know totally his idea  Wink Cheesy)

Last but not least total complete surprises are welcome!!  If you are good at something and have something you love making.  Go right ahead.  I will say that my tastes are victorian so if you can incorporate that even more perfect!!
