I claim animegirl for something from her wists.

3rd claim.  1 sent.  0 received.

I live in St. Paul, Minnesota, USA.   I dabble in many different crafts, but don't do any of them consistently.  I love to learn new things!

What do I love besides my husband and kids?   I love long skirts, long coats, embellished jeans, pull-over hoodies, and boots!

I love white, black and red.  Not into pastels or frills!

My tastes vary from day-to-day.  Very eclectic.  One day I'm extremely funky, the next very elegant.  Never know... So, wish list changes, ALOT!  But my wist gives you a pretty good idea of my varied likes.  I keep them well updated.

I claim bkrenning4 for a Bob-omb amigurumi.  Smiley

This is my second claim, 0 sent, 0 received

Hi there! I'm MandyLikesPie. I'm 26 and I live in Illinois with my hubby and our cat and bunny. We just bought our first house a few months ago and are starting to paint and decorate and basically undo all the 80s-ness from the previous owners. My kitchen is bright yellow with red and green accents, and my bathroom is peach with green accents. The living room will be brown with sky blue accents, and the bedroom will be slate blue with black and white accents. You'll notice that most of my items include the words "vintage" or "50s." I love anything vintage or vintage-inspired and, even though I work full-time as an editor, I like to pretend I'm a 50s housewife at the end of the day. I love old-fashioned prints like gingham and polkadots, and trims like rickrack and pom poms. My Craftster profile is full of likes and dislikes, so hopefully that will be helpful.

Crafts:
--Big wish: Christmas tree ornaments! Im working on covering my tree with vintage- and retro-looking handmade ornaments this year. My two main color schemes are (1) red, white, green and (2) blue, white, silver. I love birds, snowflakes, holly berries, icicles, elves, reindeer, cute Christmassy prints, anything! The ornaments can be made from any type of medium. Yarn, fabric paper, poly clay--doesnt matter.
--Vintage- or retro-style throw pillows in sky blue and chocolate brown (I can stuff if needed!)
--A snuggly fleece throw
--Vintage-inspired earrings (I like silver, black, or white the best)
--Cameo or old-timey-looking brooch
--A tree of life pendant from phoenixfiredesigns  Cheesy
--Lightweight knit or sewn scarf in green, blue, or brown
--Chunky knitted, sewn, or felted mittens in green, blue, or brown
--Homemade sugar scrub, soap, lip balm, or lotion
--Roll-on or spray-on fragrance (I like lily, jasmine, citrus, rose, baked good, coffee, and fresh linen scents)

Supplies:
--Vintage or vintage reproduction fabric (large piece or scrap--Ill be happy with either!)
--Amy Butler (particularly from the Nigella line), Michael Miller, or Alexander Henry fabric (large piece or scrap--Ill be happy with either!)
--Vintage or reproduction buttons
--Rickrack or pom pom trims
--Sublime Stitching patterns (I have veggies, flowers, Kurt Halsey, mod alphabet, country cool, under the sea, and sexy librarians. I really like the cooking- and craft-themed patterns)
--Embroidery transfer pen
--Pinking shears (used is just dandy)

Extras:
--40s-50s cookbooks
--40s-50s women's magazines
--Vintage salt and pepper shakers
--Travel postcards from the 40s-50s

Thanks so much to whoever claims me!   Kiss

I'm going to claim addicted2knitting for a wisty surprise!

This is my second claim this round/none sent/none received.

I'm a 31 year old woman who lives in Florida (USA) with my guy and two cats. My favorite colors are jewel tones like amethyst purple, emerald green, ruby red, sapphire blue, turquoise, and amber. I like silver but not really gold. (Copper's ok too.) My favorite color combination is a deep teal blue and chocolate brown together. It makes me happy. I also love things that go along with the "PhoenixFire" theme like reds/oranges/yellows together. My favorite animals are cats, owls, penguins and bats.

I suffer from migraines so please NOTHING musk/amber/patchoulli/dragon's blood or floral scented. Unless it smells like you can eat it, it will give me a migraine. I LOVE fruit and dessert scents greatly though. Also, please no bar soaps (skin is sensitive to glycerin) and nothing with artificial sweeteners like NutraSweet (aspartame) or Splenda (sucralose) as I'm allergic to both.

There are two cats in my home but it's non-smoking. I mention it because it's pretty impossible to keep some level of cat fur from going along in packages. (Sorry)

~ * ~ Crafts ~ * ~
- *BIG WISH* Something with a phoenix. (plush, art, shirt, pillow - anything!) It's my favorite mythological creature and hard to come by. (Need some inspiration? Check out the phoenix items on my wist)

- *BIG WISH* An apron like this or this especially if it were in teal blue and chocolate brown colors. (Or used like cute owl fabric or such.)  Note: I wear about a US woman's size 4 in clothing but if you need specific measurements, just ask!

- Something from my Wist. I try to keep it well stocked with drool-worthy crafts.

- Something incorporating owls, penguins or bats. I LOVE all three of those critters.

- Fused glass, glass (microscope) slide or resin pendant you think I'd like.

- Something that's in my favorite color combo of teal blue and chocolate brown.

- Something for my apartment. You know, home decor type accessory or item. (Bonus if it's in teal blue and chocolate brown because my living room is in those colors!)

- *BIG WISH* Something stained glass. I just love stained glass and wouldn't even know where to begin making it myself.

- Something ceramic like pottery or vase or whatever. Again, a skill I don't have but love.

- Hand knit socks. Something warm and soft (but preferably not wool because it itches me) I've got small feet so like a 6.5 size foot or girl's sized large socks for reference.

- A small purse of some sort. I'm open to your inspiration. Needs to be large enough to hold my glasses case (about 7" long.) I'd just like to have something cool and handmade!

- A pair of knitted "knucks" like these.

- Something Disney themed. Be it park themed, or Mickey, or another movie character, or historical (like Walt or something), etc. I love all things Disney (and Pixar!) and regularly go to Walt Disney World!

- Something plush or soft stuffed that's an adorably cute animal or critter (but not a doll please.)

~ * ~ Craft Supplies ~ * ~

- Starter resin kit/supplies

- *NEW* sewing box or some way to organize my newly developing sewing accessories and items.

- More SA156 Bobbins. (These are taller than the "normal" ones at 7/16" depth) My Brother XL2600i machine came with like three but more would be WAY helpful.

- Pendants, charms and/or centerpiece items for use in jewelry making. Especially nice, large stones or other natural materials.

- *BIG WISH* Supplies/kit to make microscope slide pendants. (I can't find copper foil tape or slides ANYWHERE around here for example.)

- Starter kit or supplies to carve my own rubber stamps

- Polymer clay tools (like molds or cutters, etc.)

- A fabricgasm.  Grin Hey, people ask for yarn that way, so why not? I'm just learning to sew, so any kind of cool, cute, animal, Japanese, otherwise neat fabric would be cool. Maybe even some fancy designer stuff to horde.

~ * ~ Extras ~ * ~
- I'd love to try some international candies and/or chocolate. Bonus for things that are pineapple flavored. Nothing coconut or coffee flavored though please.

- Pocky. I've had chocolate and strawberry, but I'd love to try other flavors.

- Teas (herbal/fruity are my favorite)

- Beading magazines (I don't have any and it seems like it'd be fun to browse through at projects and ideas.)

THANKS!!  Grin

Hi.  I'm addicted2knitting and I live in Michigan (USA). I'm in the 9th month of my 49th year and starting to feel old . . .  BUT I am an avid nature lover and my deepest wish is to live on a lake or river someday so I can go swimming any time I want! If I had a totem animal it would be the great blue heron.   Favorite colors:  muted blues, greens, browns, purples, turquoise -- I also like reds, pinks and orange, but I am not a big yellow fan.  And actually, I like yellow when it's a buttery color or in flowers.

I claim addicted2knitting for a crafted surprise inspired from her wists. This is my first claim this round, 0 sent, 0 received.

Hi. Im Jennifer and I live in beautiful Quebec, Canada. Im 23 and Ive recently graduated university and am now working as a civil engineer in a local firm with some really amazing people.

My main crafts include counted thread embroidery, spinning, beading/jewelry making and simple knitting. I love to try out different crafts just because I can to see if I might enjoy them.

I dont have any specific allergies, but the smell of smoke really bothers me. I love blues and greens, and also love deep reds and jewel tones. Creams and browns are also lovely.

Crafted items:

-Cloth pads: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=143557.msg1412524#msg1412524
-Sturdy messenger bag with zippered pockets inside. I want something to look professional because Im an engineer, but Id love to have a stencil or something on it to make it fun
-Wire wrapped pendants or wire earrings
-Tree pendant or suncatcher I have a few in my wists
-Some fun batts for spinning. Id like to try wools other than merino and other animal, synthetic or plant fibres. For colorways, blues and greens are my favorites, but I really love reds and purples too. Jewel tones are great.
-Anything Mario themed (old school is best)
-Anything Final Fantasy. My favorites are VI, VII and X
-Something with a dragon on it (not a Chinese dragon though)
-Green Man art. Im thinking it would be for my office at work
*NEW* -Knitted socks with a lace type pattern. I really loved the wave pattern in the socks here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=119890.msg1148194#msg1148194 I wear women's 10.
*NEW* -A simple corset made with a fun pattern fabric

-Anything from or inspired from my wists (http://wists.com/chibilightangel)

Supplies:
-Roll of freezer paper
-Glass rods to try lampworking
-Cute Japanese print fabric
*NEW* -Crimper and crimps
*NEW* -Supplies/kit to make microscope slide pendants. The ones that keep showing up on craftster look awesome.

Extras:
-Fruity black or green tea blends (loose or bags is fine as I drink both)
-Interesting stamps from around the world. Obliterated and just clipped from envelopes is fine with me.

Thanks for crafting for me!
