Here are some pictures I took of the stuff I sent to Krazy4Katz.

This is the apron that I made from the pattern book More Retro Aprons by Cindy Taylor Oates.  The picture on the left is the front of the apron and the other is the back.  The apron is lined and can be tied in the front or the back.  I think it is a cute pattern and I really like when it's tied in the front.  Katz told me her favorite colors are burgundy, sage green, and purple.  I couldn't find a fabric that had all the colors but I did find this cute fabric.

I was very excited to make this book cover for Katz' Bible.  I really liked the lace and the gold ribbon. The back looks the same except it does not have her name on it.  I made this because I noticed on her blog that she is a very faithful person and wanted to make a book cover for her Bible.

This was very fun to make!  It's a teapot cozy and my daughter tried to claim it as her own.  Katz told me her home is country farmhouse and she likes ginger-peach tea so I had to make this when I saw it in a book.

She was not happy when I told her that I did not make it for her.  Whenever I finish making something she thinks I made it especially for her.  Smiley

Here is the tea towel that I made using a Sunbonnet Sue iron-on transfer.  Sunbonnet Sue is one of my favorite things and the kitten is obviously for Krazy4Katz.  I made the tea towel out of a cotton/linen blend fabric and appliqued the bonnet with a blanket stitch.  I am not too familiar with embroidery but do have a book that shows different stitches so I hope I did ok with this.  My grandma taught me how to do a French knot when I was 11, just before she passed away.  It's silly but I always think of her when I do a French knot and just the fact that she taught me how to do it means a lot to me.  (I don't have many memories of her.)  I decided to make a tea towel for Katz because she said she has a valance in her kitchen that she uses to display her tea towels.

There you have it.  I made each gift with Katz in mind and I had a blast doing it!

Thank you Rira for organizing!

Everything is so beautiful- especially the little angel!

I am interested in personal supply swaps.  I have tons of fabric and scrapbooking supplies. I am interested in sewing notions and trim, especially any heirloom sewing supplies.  If anyone wants to trade a smocker/pleater for fabric or scrapbook stuff, I'm in! I'll also trade for things on my wist.

..OK, I just went back and checked the box... I didn't find the little girl in there anywhere  Angry  Just kidding.. I am so glad you took such great pictures... my slow not very steady internet connection doesn't warrant lots of images and I want EVERYONE to be jealous of my package...it was such a blessing... I posted it on my blog too...

the bible cover is so pretty.  i really love the embroidered girl as well - i'd not thought of using transfers that would make life a lot easier!

I love sunbonnet sue! I have been trying iron on transfers but I think I must give up too easy when I embroider. I never think it looks right. That towel turned out perfectly!
