I have been itching to paint my craftroom orange, I am an Orange freak Cool!!  So i finally got up the guts, and this is what happened.  I havn't finished my remodel but it looks a heck of a lot better.

before:

After:

I finally found a use for that beautiful  Shocked Veuve Cliquot (my favorite Champagne) Silk Scarf.  The pincushion painting is inspired by the tattoo in this post,

that I have been obsessed about since I saw it posted here on Craftster.  Here is a better shot of the painting:

My first painting!

Love love love it! I'm currently obsessed with doing my craft room up in Teal/Aquamarine and Orange. I was figuring on painting my walls the blue/green colors because I thought Orange would be too "weird" but your room looks fantastic! I'm definitely reconsidering my aversion to orange walls.

Orange is my least favorite color, next to olive green.  This is absolutely gorgeous though and seems like it would be cheery and energetic.  I would positively love this craft room.

I was worried it would be some awful bright neon orange shade when I read the beginning of your post, but wow, you picked a gorgeous shade! I don't like orange generally, but I really like this room--it probably feels bright and sunny even in the coldest of winter.  Great job!

I like penguins, stars, rainbows and blue.
If your project has any of these, don't be surprised to see me post in it! Cheesy

you've done the impossible.. broken down the ranks of orange haters... but you did it. i don't usually like how orange leaves me feeling but i've tried to stop automatically saying i don't like orange and appreciate it when it's good.. a big bowl of oranges, autumn leaves, pumpkins, monarch butterflies and now your craft room is on the list of Things That Really Do Look Best and Cheery Orange. not grating but vibrant. lovely. The flowers on your table left me loving it all the more... i don't usually equate orange with gardens but your rooms like a wonderful orangery. end gush.

I'm not happy, I'm cheerful. There's a difference.

What she said!! Though I don't hate orange (but yellow is another story... Cheesy) You might've found another cure for Seasonal Affective Disorder, too!  I'm about to embark on a redecoration project with my 11-year-old...would you mind sharing the paint brand/color name?
