I have to say - this dress has never, ever done anything for me & I have always wondered why so many people have gone crazy for this pattern....

and then I saw your dress! And now I understand! It's beautiful!

Wow WOW WOW! That dress looks great and looks even better on your figure! You look so fantastic in it! I think turquoise or pearls would look nice but I agree-stay away from the neckline, a necklace would be too busy. LOVE IT!!

Okay so once again I am completely redoing my pictures. Got tired of photobucket, the only reason I used it was for here so I decided I will just use Craftster's photo uploader. So while I am switching over my photo links will be broken. Message me if there is a post you would like the pics for.

this is definitly the best version of this dress ive seen yet, it really suits you too.  i think bold jewellery, possibly black, and agree with the person who said a necklass isnt necessary, tho i think some big earings could look good Smiley nice work.

That is my favorite fabric ever. I have some stashed away, I may just use it to make this dress for me!

Great job BTW!!!

This is stunning!  I say, no necklace but loads of pretty bangles and maybe a pretty clip in your hair. Don't detract away from the dress 'cos its pretty enough as it is.

I love that dress and fabric. It looks perfect on you too.

Edit to add...
Anything turquise would go well with it...or rubies. It is a little flowery though...kinda looks like a tablecloth or an apron to me.
I don't think she meant that to sound the way it did.  Tongue
I think she was saying it's pretty fabric and it would look awesome in a kitchen. She did say APRON too.  Wink

It would be a gorgeous apron!!!

whaaaaa? i don't think i've ever seen anyone post anything rude on craftster. i'm not even sure this person meant to be rude. (some people are kind of dense that way.) it kind of cracks me up.
meanwhile that dress is badass. i'm pretty jealous that it's your first machine sewn project. i've been sewing for years and i'm not sure i can do that good of a job.

If I could buy the world a coke, then I would say "SCREW YOU WORLD" and go buy more fabric.
