I am very proud to announce my first commisioned bag!!!
I found out it is really exciting to make a bag for someone you don't know that well, because you sort of start thinking everything over 50 times.
This one is for a homeopathic nurse who works a lot with ointments so i made a special plastic-lined zipped compartment for stuff that's bound to leak.
She was very happy with it!

Congratulations on your first commissioned bag!  What a great feeling!

The bag is so cute! I love the colors!  I'm sure it will be put to very good use! (I'm a nurse!)

Thanks for sharing!

I love your fabrics.  Are they vintage?

The flowery part is vintage, the blue part is plain second hand curtain fabric. I recently moved to sweden and it's a wonderful place to live since there's an unimaginable amount of beautiful fabric made here which you all can find at secondhand shops. My boyfriends mother lives on the countryside where everything is even more old-timey and cheap. I had a very very happy summer strolling around different secondhand shops paying next to nothing for beautiful fabric. Dragging everything home by train was a bit of a pain but worth every second of it!

Thanks for the compliments Smiley
