I made this for my friend for her birthday, I hope she finds some sort of use for it!  I used the awesome tutorial for making a lined zippered pouch by e.r.i.k.a (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=22875.0), and just added a strap to the side to make it a clutch.  A strangely square clutch, but i nevermind that.

The lining:

I'm not a huge fan of clutches, but I really like this one.  The embroidery is really neat, do you do lots?  Also, did you top stitch all the fabric squares too, because they are so straight! lol

I like the brown with the blue as well.  Good job.

Time and tide and newly dyed fleece wait for no-one.

sorry to reply for you, not so copacetic, but the fabric is printed like that. it's a patchwork type of fabric. (sorry- I work at a joann so...you know...!!)
But i think it's uber cute, too.  =0)

thanks guys!

Apulia- i just recently took up embroidery, so i'm still trying to incorporate more stitches in my stuff.  for this one i only used backstitch, chain stitch, and satin stitch.

patchworkarmy- lol, thanks for fielding the question!  i would love to work at joann's, but i think i would end up spending most of my paycheck there.
