hi, i was looking for resin dye and the lady at the craft store said to use soap dye.  Is that right?  Does anyone happen to know?  They didn't have regular resin dye there, maybe i will have to buy online.  thanks!

on an episode of crafters coast to coast someone dyed resin with the dust they scratched off of a pastel. it looked great, very vibrant. never tried it myself but i plan too.

I make them with flexible rubber molds that I oredered over the internet.  (they are usually used to make candy or baked goods)  They turned out pretty nice

I have been making lots of different kinds and also I have been sanding them down and adding clear varnish.

The last picture is an example of one of my newer pieces.
hope this helps, sorry it took me so long to reply!

Hi does anyone know if you can use glass paint (water based or spirit based, I have both!) to dye resin?
Also, can you paint it?  I would like to try these bracelets and I was thinking of painting the backs after they are finished.
