Just finished a new bag for my 16yr old. She was suppose to make it and I was going to help her. Well she cut it out and I did the rest. Go Figure! The sewing machine just doesn't like her. (So she says Wink) It is basically the same way I made the Chocolate & Cream bag I posted a couple of weeks ago except it is about 2 inches deeper and she wanted the handles longer and at the top of the bag, so she can sling it over her shoulder. The outside fabric is baby cord and the body of the lining is a black canvas.(for stability) I did have to use interfacing on the top band because of the cord fabric being so light weight.
She picked out the fabrics and likes the idea that none of the other girls will have one like it.

I would love to have that purse, and just in time for back to school is perfect!   Cheesy

Your daughter's bag is so cute! I love the style and shape!  What a great mom you are....finishing the bag for her!  She will be proud!

Did you use a tute from Crafster? or did you buy a pattern?

Thanks for sharing!

I used the same pattern that I used in my other post Chocolate & Cream prototype found here...

The explination of how I made it is on page 3, I just made the body of the bag deeper and changed the position of the straps.
