OK, I couldn't stand it and started working on something today. Yes, I'm a spaz  Roll Eyes
I'm only doing part of it so I finish with my partner's preferences in mind.
But my DD really got into the buttons and made herself a button bracelet, button flowers on pipe cleaners, and a button ring.  Cheesy Then she picked out one of her purses and wants me to sew buttons on it-looks like we'll be busy tomorrow.
And yes, we were fighting over a few buttons  Wink

You're not the only one. I've been up to my ears in buttony inspiration. Yesterday I baked a load of polymer clay buttons. I figure at least a couple should suit my partner - one of them has rhinestones and you can't go wrong with rhinestones, can you? Roll Eyes Cheesy And I made something else buttony that... well, I want to keep it, which is usually a good sign. I don't usually like to pre-craft, I like to make things for my partner if you know what I mean, so I'll make at least two "proper" items for my partner, and the other... thing can fall into the envelope by accident if I think it'll suit their tastes. Cheesy Same with the poly clay buttons, if they seem like they'd be right for my partner they can go in, if not they won't.

Incidentally, that button encrusted teacup is glorious, if possibly difficult to drink from.

Yay! I'm excited to get partners early!

I was at a family BBQ today and my SIL busted out an old sewing box that was her grandmother's and let me take whatever I wanted!  Shocked I wanted the whole thing, but didn't want to be greedy... Embarrassed  But I did manage to score some vintage buttons among other things...woohoo!  Grin
