I was just at our Michaels today and thank goodness most of the christmas stuff is at the back corner of the store so I can kinda avoid it! It just reminds me of how much stuff still needs to be made in such a short amount of time!

On a chocolatey note! I was chocolate searching online to see what stores I have near me and was wondering how many people have tried Laura Secore or The Nutty Chocolatier chocolate? From looking at the websites I'm thinking they are Canadian!?! Also is there a limit or max amount of chocolate we are to send because I think its going to be hard to stick to just a few things and not go crazy spoiling which I know I am going to do anyways!

Here the Christmas stuff has been slowly spreading. I saw the first of it over a month ago. Now even the major department stores have their Christmas sections up. Admittedly we don't have Halloween or Thanksgiving.

We have a cool specialist chocolate shop in town which carries our favourite imported chocolate, it may be closing though because most people don't want to pay the little extra. Cry Cry

I was in Clintons on Friday (a chain that sells cards and balloons and other party stuff) and they had advent calendars already!  I love Christmas, but even I think that September is a wee bit early.

Haven't checked in for a while, my little lad has been sick, so no chance to get on-line.
All good now though.
Now I always say I like chocolate as dark as possible, but I may have met my match...
My gorgeous man brought me home a present yesterday. A bar(well, not really a bar, more of a log) of "Willies Supreme cacao, Venezuelan Black 100% pure cacao" no sugar, no nothing, basically a chunk of chocolate in its purest form.

He knows I like to add chocolate to all sorts of things like chilli beef, venison stew, etc, but I've never got my hands on something like this before. it smells great, just don't know where to start with it Huh finding it a bit intimidating.... it's just sat on the desk looking at me... Undecided

My husband has always loved a chocolate (the brand of which I have forgotten) which is 99.9%. It was only about 5mm thick and 4cm x 6cm. It would take him a couple of weeks to eat it. Now I like dark chocolate, and depending on the brand happily eat 85-90%, but that chocolate has always tasted like a mouthful of dust to me. He just said he doesn't eat it for the taste but for the buzz. Wink

100%?? Oy yoy yoy... I admire your fortitude. I can't handle anything above 75% usually. We had some 88% in the house for a bit and I could barely handle it.

For those of you who like your chocolate super dark - do you find that you like your coffee black too? I noticed this correlation with my husband so I was curious if it was a common thing.

I've begun plotting what I want to make for RondaS and the chocolate collecting has begun. MWAHAHAHAHAHA!
