Last week I went thrift hunting and I found a great old big wine bottle for one dollar. (It's called a carboy for the ones who are interested) I knew immediately I wanted to make a bottle garden!
It was a very popular thing to do in the seventies. Here is some information how to do it: http://www.flowers-and-garden.com/bottle-garden.php

Tadaaaa! Grin

Wow, that's the prettiest terrarium I have seen in a long time!  Your choice of plants is terrific, they look beautiful together.

That looks so pretty. My Mom had these all over the house in the 70's and maybe into the 80's.  I had forgot all about them.

She had one in a 5 gallon glass water bottle. Can you imagine putting the plants in that little top hole?!? She had taped a dowel rod to a wooden spoon to reach down in there.   Cheesy

ohhhhh, now I want to make one too.  Tongue
