I am teaching quilting to two on my friends and thought this would make a great 'you are doing great' gift.  I think each took maybe 45 minutes to make and are super easy, but don't look like a slap together type project.

Ok.....  The Outsides-

The Insides-

and details....

There is space for a small cutting mat, a ruler, scissors, seam ripper, rotary cutter, pencils...  just enough to take along for a class or small work or stitching with friends.  Anyway, I am happy with them and I hope they'll like them.

These are wonderful to carry along papercraft supplies as well!  And, they protect the little rotary mat so well!  Thanks for posting--what lovely gifts for your friends!

What a terrific idea - and what a thoughtful teacher you are, too.   Any chance you could do a tute?  They are absolutely terrific.
