Ani: she's cute and badass at the same time. I'm still looking for a little guitar for her and thinking of embroidering some tats or a Righteous Babe logo on her sweater! I'll post any of those updates later. Still trying to decide what I'll do with her - either put her up for the NYU Law Public Interest Auction later this week or send her to my five-year old niece, Lorin. Anyhoo, the pattern was pretty fun - I imagine it would be a good project for anyone just starting to learn how to use DPNs for smaller work.  More photos and thoughts on the pattern here:

OH MY GOD!!! I so love.  Ani is my heart, I truly adore her, and any craft involving her makes me squeal in delight.  Plus, well... it's just so frickin' adorable!  Serious kudos, I love her muchly.

THAT IS AWESOME! I am not an Ani fanatic, but I appreciate what she does and totally think you are rad for making her in doll format!!

Thx, craftsters!  The funny thing is, I didn't set out to make an Ani doll at all.  I finished the body and hair, and a friend suggested that the hair looked just like Ani's circa Dilate, and she was so right!  I mean, partly the resemblance is all in the hair, so she's only a little Ani, but I thought she was enough of her to deserve the name Wink.

yes, most definitely the hair. you should take a little jump ring and pierce her little non-existant nose.  Smiley

Ya gotta show Ani this herself!! She would love it!

You should email her a pic at http://www.righteousbabe.com/contact/index.asp
She is one of my heroes!
You should embroider her tats underneath the sweater
She never fails to amaze me with her music, words, and actions

P.S...oh and very clever title.......DOLLFranco!!

Wow...great job!  It's so nice to see some originality!

Maybe someone should introduce Ms. DollFranco to this guy:
