Wow, that looks like a lot of hard work and it turned out great. Made me laugh when I saw it, too. The "everything's coming up Milhouse" slogan will be a great addition. Maybe I'm just not spending enough time on the right boards here on Craftster, but I've never seen anything like this (ie. this size and level of detail) handstitched before. It looks like one of those sew-on patches you buy in a store. Very cool!

I've started my own crochet blog, have a look...http://cthulhucrochet.blogspot.com/

When the images appeared I thought, oh another machine stitched thing (nothing against machine embroidery but for me it is not the same as something stitched by all by hand).
Then I read that it was handstitched and looked again. I still can't believe it.
This is great and I admire all the patience you must have, I'm sure it took AGES to stitch it all...

That is freakin awesome.
was that from the episode when Milhouse was in the photo booth and he says "my shirt fell off"?

I don't know if it's from an episode. I got it from a picture of a t-shirt that's his whole body, legs too, and there's a big bubble behind him that says "Von Dork."

what the heck stitch is that? Long and short stitch? Did you do that for all of it?

Yes, it's all long and short stitch.
