here they are!

unfortunately i sat in some ink while working on my etching final last quarter so now there is some shmutz on the bum..

from a salvation army tshirt..

and now the pièce de résistance...

my first pair of shorts! they are soo comfortable. i drafted a pattern based off some low rise shorts, and went from there, raising the waist and elongating the hem. i still have the pattern so i will be perfecting it and sharing the results of course Smiley

thanks for looking.. and please let me know what you think!

Nice recons and nice shorts!  I'm waaay to short to wear high waisted shorts (at least to me i think they look better on taller people) but I'm sure everyone will be happy when you share the pattern!

The shorts do look mighty comfy, you have definitely beat me to attempting them.

those shorts are marvellous!  I'm not a high waisted fan, but you may have swayed me there for a moment...
