So i got promoted and they transfered me to a different branch to be the supervisor. this branch is in the supermarket so it is much smaller but just as busy as my old branch. it being smaller the breakroom is the office too. i was taking my lunch break, i was crocheting my purple ripple tote http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=261983.msg2937363#msg2937363 and one of the girls that works with me saw it and brought all the other girls into see what i was doing. they all then in turn asked me to make them each one. they all had to be different. and this is what happened

cathy's bag is the same ripple tote but in lion brand jiffy yarn in black and gray

naz's bag clutch size in tlc purple haze
the color is funny the next 2 are closer to the real thing

flora's bag (it is knit cause she liked the yarn and i hated crocheting with it, for me it is easier to knit with novelty yarns than crochet)

the lining and button closure

comments welcome

***EDIT**ADD PATTERN**
Naz's bag is the one i have received PMs about so i thought i would add the pattern here for all too enjoy
(make 2) chain 42
hdc in the 3rd chain for the hook and across chain 2 and turn
continue rows if hdc until satisfied with the size of the bag
hdc 5 chain 40 skip 30 stitches hdc 5 chain 2 and turn
hdc 5, hdc in each chain, hdc 5, chain 2 and turn
hdc across chain 2 and turn
hdc 1, hdc 2together hdc across till the last 3 stitches hdc 2 together, hdc 1, chain 2 and turn
hdc 1, hdc 2 together hdc across till the last 3 stitches hdc 2 together hdc 1, chain 2 and turn
hdc 1, hdc 2 together hdc across till the last 3 stitches hdc 2 together hdc 1, chain 2 and turn
end off, with the right sides facing in (which ever sides look the best) whip stitch the sides together. flip right side out
Lining is simple, trace the shape of the bag on a double layer of fabric adding 1/4 of and inch around for seams, with right sides facing stitch seams, slip inside of bag, fold over the top raw edge and do a running stitch to attach the lining to the bag, finished
i am happy to help with any questions you may have!

cathy's bag is just a ripple, 2 valleys and 1 peak \/\/ folded in half and stitched together.

flora's bag is knit one purl one rib for body and strap

Very nice! Did you at least make them pay for the yarn?   Grin
