Aw, I'm having a bit of a fabric dilemma. The fabric I thought I wanted to use for this swap has a pretty large scale design...I bought it for making a hanging pocketed organizer actually, where the large scale design would work better. But not so sure it would be great for a purse. At least I have a few weeks left to think about if I want to get something else!   Smiley

I know what you mean MareMare, I ended up making a huge bag to show a big pattern off, and I actually use it a lot.
Can we see your fabric? Smiley

That's super cute! I think the floral pattern might even be a little bigger on the one I have! Each flower is like  maybe 6 inches across? I love how you put the material inside the pocket, so cute! I'll take a pic as soon as I get my camera back, I left it at my brother's house the other day and forgot to have him bring it back yesterday.

Aww thank you!
That's similar actually - these flowers are about 6" across. Can't wait to see your pic, I need some inspiration as I still don't know what to send..

I've just bought my lining and outer fabric... they are unusual together, but I think they'll work!

My plan to send stash fabric didn't work, I couldn't find anything really inspiring though.

Now I just need to find some extra little bits to go with it. I'm off to plot!

I'm doing much the same, found some lovely ribbon that I love, now trying to find a lining fabric that matches it! I know your supposed to do it the other way round but the ribbon had all my favourite colours on it, I just HAD to have it!!

I totally understand that! Like when you buy an awesome pair of shoes, then have to buy an outfit to go with them!
