This is for KatieKutthroat, it's based on an Angelique HoutKamp illustration (http://www.salonserpent.com/Home.html)  I thought it was appropriate desig for Katie as she's a fan of tattoos! I hope she likes it. I'm contemplating sewing it onto a tote instead of leaving in the hoop frame- what do people think?

and a close up to show how I did the hair

The colours are a little off in these photos, but if you can't tell she's in shade of brown and there are some metallic highlights in the hair- I was going for a retro sepia look.
ta for looking

Wow, I LOVE it!  I think it would look really good on a messenger bag, but the piece is so awesome I'd take it in the hoop frame, on a slip, purse, anything!  It looks great no matter where you put it!  Katie is a lucky girl!!

This is awesome!  I think it should go on a tote or something so everyone can see it  Smiley

i tote would make it easier to show off to the world, and i think it deserves to see it.

Wow!  I agree that the world should see it, but I'd be afraid to use a tote with such nice work on it!  How'd you do the hair?  Is it just tiny satin stitch, after stitch, after stitch?
