also question for kish
when i started my big large all those weeks ago, my great granmother heard about what i was doing and insisted she help with some of it(i hope thats ok?).she doesnt get to do much of anything any more so i let her help with some of it. the item turned out fine(better then i could of done myself in fact) but i was just wondering if it was ok for someone to help me with an item (i give her credit of course )

It's fine with me! I think it's awesome in fact!!! I wish I'd had someone to help. Instead I had the Boy giving opinions. Not the same thing!
Hopefully Day 2 will be wrapped tonight. Leaving Day 12, unless it's day 11.

YAY! thank you for the info on the item my great grandma made. its actually one of the last things she'll be able to make as her eye sight has gotten worst over the last couple of weeks, which is sad because she loves crafting!(she started over 80(!) years ago. Cry Cry but she does have internet at home(they do most shopping from home) so ill show her how to look up craftster next time i go.

now must dash and go finsih some items before dinner.

I've got everything shipped except day 1!! I was kind of sad when I mailed the last box. I'd gotten kind of used to it sitting in the middle of my living room.

I recieved the first two boxes!! I am in class at the moment (online), but after I finish I am finishing up the last couple days and hope to send tommorrow. Day 11 will be shipped later as it will be baked goods. But I am sending the PMs right after I type this.

It so far has been a great day, I had a job interview and won't know until Friday if I got the job. But to come home after and find the boxes on my porch made my day. I will be putting them under the xmas tree with all the other great presents we have.

I got a bit accomplished last night.

Day 6-Doing this Saturday (I keep considering this one done in my head)
Day 5-Done
Day 4-almost half done, need to buy more supplies
Day 3-not started   Undecided
Day 2-needs a small repair, then it's done
Day 1-done, just needs finishing touches on the packaging.   Wink

But the biggest reason I'm stoppig in is to share goodies I found on etsy while I was pouncing.  For those of you with little girls to shop for, check out this shop.  GORGEOUS stuff.  Not sure if they would get here from China in time for Christmas, but I might just have to stock up on some.  They're just deliciously beautiful!

It felt so good to get days 12-7 wrapped and on the road! And they looked nice in their newspaper wrapping Smiley Except that after I sent I realized that my 3 most last minute items were still in another room drying. Bah! I guess they will join the other package.

But now.. scary. Trying to get everything together! My worst day is 3, because nothing is done. Agh! Must work hard...

Today is a "Shoulda stayed in bed" day! I started day 4 last night after the kids were in bed, and everything was doing great, then my almost 2 year old "helped" me this morning and I had to start over one of the items. I got it started , did the next step on the other 3 and then my 5 year old picked up the item I had to restart and asked why I didn't do it too... *sigh* Now I've got it restarted... again and the kids are locked out of my kitchen until I'm safe it's past the "oops, I messed it up" stage. Let's just hope my roomates sleep in today so they don't do the exact same thing my 5 year old did!!!

Progress...
Day 6 - mailed w/first box
Day 5 - 3 done, have to pick up more _______ to finish the other 2
Day 4 - 65% done... will finish today!
Day 3 - um... no progress
Day 2 - mailed w/first box
Day 1 - getting help Sunday, keeping fingers crossed that it works so I don't have to scramble on Monday to get something new done!
