Grin YEA!!!! Days 12-7 are on their way.
I am so excited Cheesy....and filled with anxiety Undecided.

And I LOVE the Automated Postal Center; it saved me today from standing in a ridiculously long line.  And I'm going to love it even more when they get the second machine in.

Okay off to craft and drink hot cocoa.

I have Days 12-7 ready to send.

(though Day 10 is missing three items. I cut it too close. I was still sewing 30 secs before I left for work. I didn't want to hold back a whole package just for the sake of 3 small items I'll send in Package 2.0)

Now it's a mad rush to complete the last days of stuff.

*cry*

Oh - and by the way.

How many people are fully planning to stay up until 12:01 am every night to open their gifts as soon as possible?

Time zones, time zones....

If I open my present at 12:05am on the 14th... it's Saturday, 13 December 2008 at 5:05:00 AM in San Francisco.

jealous??  Wink

I will be doing the sent/received list tomorrow so I will only be updating from my PM inbox messages. If you have posted in this thread that you have sent and received but have not sent me a PM, then you will not be updated. Sorry, but that's how it goes. Tongue

And for all of you that have sent me messages that you are sending late, please try to get those packages in the mail ASAP. It would suck to have the 14th roll around and to have your partner not have a day 12 package.

I sent a PM but I also sent!  days 12-7 woohoo... It was exciting/nerve wracking. They made me tell what was in the package in writing! They said otherwise customs would open it all. Boo! I told my partner to have hubby nab the box so that she wouldn't see the customs label!

yay! after much waiting at the P.O., days 12-7 are in the mail. (apparently international packages over 4 lbs need to be sent Priority?! never knew that, but my package was almost 10 pounds... I'll let you all guess how much that was... I knew postage was going to be a lot, but it was still a little shocking when she rang it up!)

2711 - if the customs form is still on the box don't peek! I had to list everything!

here's a teaser though! I think my favorite wrapping job is the light blue one in the back. I put so much bubble wrap on it that you couldn't see through the package anymore, so I left it as the wrapping paper Cheesy

Oooo... pretty McBenno

My days 7-12 went off - but I don't think they're as prettily packed as that. I went with tissue paper coz it's lighter, and with a "Squish and roll in the paper" method of wrapping to try and reduce the volume.

I'm quite pleased - it all fit into a medium-ish sized box, and it weighed about 1800 grams all up.

Still cost me $70 in postage - but only because I opted to go with the trackable courier option. I do NOT want a parcel in this swap to go AWOL.
