12 Days Of Christmas 2008(This swap is over!!)

I dyed my hair and my roots turned purple, the rest of my hair is only purple is certain lights but now my hair matches one of the things I'm making for DIYho it is awesome it was suppose to be dark burgundy like It always is

OMG, so I went to Michaels last night to get ONE SKEIN of patons SWS with my 50% off coupon and lo and behold, they had it marked to 3 for $3!  That's $1.50 a skein!!! That's 75% off!  I ended up with 14 skeins!  But I got more of a certain color so I can rip back and redo part of a day 5 item since I didn't like how small it came out, and I can finish another day 5 item, and start another.  And I got supplies for other days as well.

I'll head back to Joanns later this week to score items on sale with my 10% coupon, especially stuff in the remnant bin, like fleece prints which I need for . . . I can't remember what day, maybe 5.  It's all a blur. 

I do need to sit at the sewing machine to wrap up day 1, which is easier said than done; day 3 and 4 need cutting and sewing and two different needles which is hard to keep track of.  Thank goodness I have a mom.

I just completed another medium!  That brings me to 36 items, which does not seem like a lot - however some of the mediums I've done have been "a set of three ____" or whatever, so I've actually completed many more individual items than that.

I still have a LOT of smalls to do, and I'm planning (and hoping) on knocking out about 8 of them today, so we'll see how that goes. 

Here's my total broken down:

3 larges completed / 3 in progress / 0 to begin
6 mediums completed/ 1 in progress / 8 to begin
27 smalls completed / 6 in progress / 24 to begin

And I plan on completing 10 smalls today.  6 of those I have started, and the others I haven't started on yet.

I also plan on making pretty good headway on a large today.  And tomorrow is all planned out as well.  This should be a good week.

And I am doing quite nicely (at least considering I kind of only started because of my trip!) - I think tonight will be a big night. I'm doing mroe work on a "team" pair of larges with my sister!

Checking In: I have been crafting up a storm.  I've completed more days YEA!!! but still have yet to type a list though I do have it written down on my precious list.  I have all the supplies, but there are a few bought goodies I still need to get.  Well, back to my crafting frenzy!

I finished another part of day 4! And Day 10 is almost complete. Also Day 12 is about 7 of 12 done. woohoo! And day 2 is 70% done. Day one had to start over....grrrr but it's coming along nicely and quicker now that I realized my mistake! Day 9 is now officially in progress as well.
