Sqeee!  My box arrived today!  I opened the box and placed all the neatly wrapped presents under the tree. Grin

One does not simply walk into Mordor. Its black gates are guarded by more than just orcs. There is evil there that does not sleep. The great eye is ever watchful. It is a barren wasteland, riddled with fire, ash, and dust. The very air you breathe is a poisonous fume.......

Whew.  The big "hold your breath and hope this works" portion of my last medium is done...now I just have to wait for it to dry, and do the finishing.  I worked on my last large all day today, and I'm going to take a break for a couple of hours, to let my hands rest...they are suuuuupppper achy today.

We're going to the big tree lighting fest downtown tonight!  free hot dogs, coffee, hot chocolate, carollers, symphony, and lights!  I'm ready to be full-on christmassy!

My packages arrived and I told my partner about day 12 baked goodies so they don't get funky.

I was also dumb and put a little tag on almost every package that said what was in it, I am such a lummox!  For the next batch I'll just wrap everything and write a card that says "Open me last" and that can explain anything (but i think everything days 6-1 is pretty self explanatory!)

*if* i do this swap next year I am going to think things thru a little bit more, but i really think everything will work out in the end.

Btw, my partner's squeaker is much much better!! yay for non sick childrens!

Tell me about it.  I finished another medium today and I made SUPER progress on that other day 2 item I've been working on (you came over and we worked together that one night since we're making similar things - that item.) and also made some great progress on the OTHER day 2 item (the one I just changed at the last FREAKING second).

I have a small to make and I had better make it quick but I just keep putting it off... don't know why!  It's the easiest of anything I have left.

I am certain I'll be done by Sunday but STILL.  The wrapping of everything and the taking photos is what I'm putting off.  I still have not taken one photo.  Smiley

That leaves me with 7 items left to make.

small for day 8:  need to make this and it won't take long once I get started
medium for day 6:  need to start on this but once again, not a hugely time-consuming item
medium for day 5:  umm, what was I making again?
medium for day 4:  yeah, I need to start on this too.
large for day 3:  I did get a good bit of this done today but I need to keep at it
large for day 2:  good progress made, probably 1/2 done
large for day 2:  good progress made, probably 1/4 done, but it'll go smoothly and quickly once I get past a certain point.

Yeah, I need to put the computer down and go work on this stuff.  Wink

You'll have to let me know if that _____  _____ for that day 2 item works. Otherwise, that particular item might take a bit longer than expected! Cheesy

Everything but day 7 has been sent! Day 7 is out of the oven and will be sent Fri. or Sat.

It's nice to be done making things. Well, for this swap, now on to family holiday items.
