Okay this is my first time posting something that I made, so bear with me please.
I've adjusted the skirt a few times, but I still can't seem to get the sides to not bulge out so much. Before I finish it, I was hoping that someone would be able to give me some tips or advice. Thanks!

PS excuse the sweats....its late

It looks like it's bulging probably because it isn't fitted enough.  It should fit smoothly all down your thighs to just above the knee.  If you can get someone to help you, try putting it on inside out and have them pin down the sides to fit.  Be sure not to wear sweats!  You can pin it yourself but it will be more difficult.

Ludi's advice is what i'd go with.  it looks like a garment you measured yourself for, cut and sewed it but it ended up being too big.  the easiest way to fix the "wings" is to pop it on inside out and pin down the excess - make sure it's not too much going away--sew and try on.  other than the ill fitting hips- it looks pretty good i must say!
