My mom had a big party for the 4th and I offered to bring some dessert for it. It was my 2nd try with dying the icing and I am very happy with the results Smiley
Something I'll definitely do again!

The cupcakes in all their glory

Action shots!

I also made a cute cake! I used the angel food pan for it and tried to color the inside so it'd be a little surprise
It was hot that day, and some of the decorations on top got melty

And the inside Smiley

Those all look great! It never occurred to me to do red, white and blue batters. Great job Smiley

Cheesy

I poured the white cake batter in the bottom of the pan and then drizzled a small amount of the first color only in the center of the white batter, then the 2nd color immediately on top and filled the rest of the pan w/ the rest of the white batter! Smiley I wasn't expecting that result, but I'm happy with it nonetheless!
