Its people like you who inspire me to do new things .... but my mom wont get me crocet needles cause she says i will be to busy with highschool and im pretty sure it wont be too much work

My 14 year old granddaughter has decided to learn to crochet, blankets and hats bore her, but the dolls thrill her and her friends to pieces. Does your highschool have a home ec class? They use to teach sewing, crocheting and cooking. Crocheting is very relaxing and the rewards are unmeasurable. I hope you get the chance to try> I was 26 when I was taught by my mother in law. No my highscool doesnt have home ec but they have a course on the fasion industry... but the might have groups cause i know my school has like millions cause the teachers there are really supportive

Your work is really fantastic.  I love the doll on the far left in the second picture.  My grandmother used similiar doll heads to make dolls for my sister and me.

She is a Strawberry Short cake. She lost her hat before the photo shoot. I won about 40 of the heads a couple of years ago on ebay for $5.00 so I've been making the traditionals and playing with different designs like these


This one is the modern Strawberry



I enjoy crocheting more than I ever thought I would. I must be honest though.......I can't remember the last afghan I completed lol...........
