Before it was the baby's room.

And DH found this dresser on the side of the road for free.

We stripped, painted, sweated, cursed, painted some more and then fell to the floor in exhaustion, but the "Transformers" bedroom is now finished!! (I am going to put a couple Transformers posters up on the walls later, but for now we are done).

Handpainted dresser knobs -
Optimus Prime

Bumblebee

Ratchet

Prowl

I made the curtains (short so the fan can work best).  I painted the huge Autobot logo on the wall to protect my 4yo from any and all bad guys (monsters).  The room is painted yellow and black after Bumblebee, my 4yo's favorite character.

My son is in love! Smiley I think my dh is too.  He wishes his parents were as cool as us and made him this cool room when he was a kid.

OOOOh, yes, please! Awesome.  I love how you used the classic transformers, and not the modernized version.

This is adorable, nice work.  I just hope that my boyfriend doesn't see.  He is the biggest Transformers nerd.  The boy has been collecting them most of his life, his room looks like a toy store.  I would love to do something like your painting on the wall, but there is no room for it, plus he's into the bad guys.  Tongue Great work!!

This is awesome!! I'm so glad my son is at school right now! I am in the process of changing his room from John Deere to Transformers. We rent so I can't do anything to the walls. I so wish I could. They are so ugly. So all I can do is the curtains and bedspread.
I really do love your idea of painting the knobs! I was thinking about decoupaging some pics on his dresser but I'm not sure yet. Your post has inspired me to get busy.  Grin
