Here is the next round of the Fill-a-box swap.

Swap name: Fill-a-Box 9 Supply Stash Buster Swap  (aka: Flat Rate Box Swap)
Craftster member who is organizing this swap: Shadeweaver
Co-Organizer: To Be Determined
Sign-up date range: 8/24-9/7
Date to send item by: 9/27

Restricted to people who all live in the same country? YES.  This is a Fill a "US Postal Service Flat Rate Box" Swap so unfortunately it is limited to individuals in the U.S.  Sorry.

As a reminder each participant must meet these conditions:

- Has completed one swap successfully before signing up for multiple swaps at a time:

Details of swap:

Fill-a-Box 9 Supply Stash Buster Swap

****In order to sign up for this round you must have sent your box(es) and notified the organizer(s) of the DC number(s).  If there is any doubt, I am going on the previous organizers word.****

I am going to give you the option of sending either size flat rate box.  This is just a test to see if there is enough interest in the *Large Flat Rate box* which cost $12.95 plus DC to ship.  There is no guarantee that future Fill -a- box swaps will have this option.

You'll fill a FLAT-RATE US Postal Service box with as much as you can jam in and send it to your partner (Don't forget the Delivery Confirmation).

Gently Used supplies are fine, if not encouraged-- take this opportunity to do a little craft purging, the result is a clean(er) craft closet and some fresh ideas/supplies for crafting. Because of the special type of box (only US Flat rate boxes) this is limited to US participants only. Sorry

In previous rounds, people have been allowed to send a SECOND BOX.  Please indicate if you would like to send a second box.  You will be paired up with another person and you will also receive a second box.  YOU ARE NOT REQUIRED to send a Second Box to participate in this swap.

I am going to give you the option of sending either size flat rate box.  This is just a test to see if there is enough interest in the *Large Flat Rate box* which cost $12.95 plus DC to ship.  Please make sure you note if you want to send  the Large Flat Rate in one or both of the boxes, should you choose two.  Otherwise I will list you for the regular flat rate box that cost $9.80.

If you want to participate, information to send to Shadeweaver (the organizer):

QUESTIONNAIRE TO ANSWER:
Name of swap: Fill-a-Box Supply Swap 9
Craftster username:
Email address:
Your real name:
Mailing address:

1) What type of crafts do you do?
2) What type of supplies would you plan on including in the pkg?
3) Any unusual supplies you plan on including?
4) Any supplies you would like to receive?
5) WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEND (and therefore receive) a SECOND BOX of Supplies?
6) Please note if you want the large flat rate box for either or both of your boxes otherwise you will be listed for the regular flat rate.
7) Do you have a camera to take pictures?

<--- These Quick Questions make sure a people are paired with people whose extra craft supplies they are likely to use.

IF YOU WANT TO PARTICIPATE, REMEMBER TO SEND YOUR INFO TO ORGANIZER VIA PRIVATE MESSAGE AND NOT TO REPLY WITH IT HERE. Also remember to read the Swap Info Guide to find out how to ship your item and other details about participating in a swap.

--------------------

As in the past Swapper A sends to Swapper B but will receive from Swapper C-- this is not a Person A sends and receives from B.  I will do my best to honor your requests in this thread but there is no guarantee that you will be paired with who you "claim"

Sweet! I was just wondering last night when the next round of this was going to be! I waffled too long last time to make it in.  I'm gonna have a look at my supplies and then come back and fill out my qnr!  Smiley

Oh yay!  Just sent in my info, for two boxes this time!
Are crafty-type magazines considered a "supply"?  I don't have any to get rid of, but I know some people hang onto those for a while and I'd be willing to take some off somebody's hands! Smiley

Yup ... you can send two boxes and can send any combination of large or regular sized boxes .. you will see the question for it on the questionnaire.

Yeah, I found it as I copied and pased the questionnaire to PM you with  Tongue  DER......See, I knew I overlooked it!  Fab, I just got some kickin' bags o craft supplies recently from the thrift, and some of them are unfortunately not things I regularly work on.

I think I will start it off early in this thread on the post what you got, and what you want stuff, if that's OK, if not, PM me and gimme a virtual slap upside the head and I'll edit post  Cheesy

HAVE:

Great supply of fabric...will have to see what else I can raid and clean out.  Great clothing items BEGGING for recon's or just to cut up and use for fabric for items.  I made a kick-ass purse out of a fab 70s dress recently and LOVE it to pieces!  Sewing notions, zippers.  May have a couple sewing mags n patterns to include, gotta look through those.  Beads, of course, cuz I'm a jewelry fiend Smiley  And....for some unusual items...well, unusual for me as either I don't do the craft, can't find anything TO do with the item, or will likely not get around to doing anything with the item quick enough while the material is still viable.  On this last point what I am referring to is poly clay.  I have never worked with it, and have enough on my plate with learning to get REALLY good at sewing I just don't have time to learn a new craft right now and put the proper energy into it.  6-8 (or more, did not count 'em out from the bag of craft stuff) cross stitch n frame Xmas ornaments...they are cute, I just don't have time to stitch them all up and frame them and stuff.  A whole TON of faux fur trim, like for pants, jackets, whatever.  Probably 10-20yards Huh  I forget, I got it in one of the offer what you have swaps and I just CANNOT find something to with it!  Oh, last but not least....a FL license plate from a vehicle Smiley  This would be great to make one of those license plate purses, but I do not know how to do that, nor do I know anyone that DOES  Undecided  Eh, oh well, I hope it finds a good home!

WANT:

BUTTONS!!!  Starting a big button collection, would love to get more!  IKEA-type fabric!  Or actual fabric from IKEA Smiley  I love retro prints, mod stuff, 60s n 70s prints and styles, so anything along those lines in just about any color would be great.  Not a plaid fan, so...maybe skip me on that material though.  Prefer fabrics to be cotton or cotton blend.  Batiks!!  Tye dye also.  Ethnic or African inspired prints.  Jersey knit in solid colors for dresses n tops.  Sewing notions like elastic n colored zippers.  No kids stuff either as I don't have kids....UNLESS...you have Strawberry Shortcake, Popples, Holly Hobbie, Rainbow Brite or Care Bears cuz I am looking for vintage or retro stuff like that.  Sizes of fabric can be from fat quarter size (wallets, zipper pouches) to yardage 1-5 yards.  Beads n charms, as I can NEVER have too many even though I will be sending some out in my package Smiley  I like variety, what can I say?

YAY!  I'm gonna send 1 each of a large and a reg size flat rate box this round, so I hope I get some GREAT stuff again!  I bet this will another 'round robin' style partnering, right?
